With the rapid development of global industry, elevators, as an indispensable part of the urbanization process, are increasingly valued for their safety and efficiency. In early June, the FSW delegation conducted a far-reaching business inspection in Kazakhstan, aiming to provide some effective solutions for the local elevator renovation plan and to inspect the local, high-quality copper resources.
The first task of this inspection was to participate in Kazakhstan's national elevator renovation plan. With its professional technology and rich experience in the field of elevator cables, FSW has provided a number of technical solutions to the local area. These solutions can not only improve the safety performance of elevators but also effectively reduce maintenance costs, contributing to the modernization of elevators in Kazakhstan.
The second task of the inspection was to investigate the copper raw material market in Kazakhstan. Due to the recent fluctuations in copper prices in the international market, this trip is prepared to seek cooperation with high-quality raw material suppliers.
● Supply and demand: The global economic recovery has led to an increase in demand for copper, while the supply of copper ore is relatively tight, leading to price increases.
Increased production costs: Mining and refining costs have risen, especially in the context of rising energy prices and labor costs.
● Geopolitical factors: The unstable situation in some copper-producing countries has also affected the supply of copper, pushing up prices.
As we all know, Kazakhstan has rich copper resources and high quality. FSW wants to establish a preliminary cooperative relationship with local copper mining companies through field visits. It is currently in progress. Once the cooperation is successful, it will help the company use higher-quality raw materials in cable production, thereby improving the overall performance and market competitiveness of the products.
At present, the price of national cables fluctuates. In addition to the increase in copper prices, it is also related to other factors, such as energy prices. A large amount of energy is required in the cable manufacturing process, so the increase in energy prices will also directly increase production costs. The main production equipment of cables uses electricity. Due to the arrival of the peak period of electricity consumption in summer, the state has limited electricity to enterprises, increasing indirect costs.
In the context of the current cable market being affected by fluctuations in copper prices, energy prices, etc., FSW's inspection is particularly important. Through in-depth cooperation with Kazakhstan, FSW is expected to achieve more stable prices and higher-quality products in the supply of raw materials, thereby providing strong support for the stable development of the entire cable market.
FSW's trip to Kazakhstan not only injected new vitality into the company's development but also set an example for promoting international technical exchanges and cooperation. In the context of global economic integration, FSW will continue to leverage its professional advantages in the field of cables to provide global customers with safer and more efficient products and services.
